They saw an opportunity to create a new business venture, specializing in offering honest Auto/Vehicle Valuations for insurance purposes (and more).

Ian Hyndman, based in Christchurch, has been in the business of providing quality cars and service to the people of Canterbury, the South Island and all over New Zealand for over 40 years. Ian is the driving force behind The Classic Automobile Co. who specialize in the sale and purchase of 4WD, all types of cars - late model to prestige, classic and sports cars of all nationalities and makes. An overall car enthusiast, Ian has a wealth of experience. From an initial viewing to driving away in your new or classic vehicle, Ian can give as much help and advice as needed, and more.
Ian always loved older cars. It’s a childhood passion he turned into reality with The Classic Automobile Co.
Following in his father's footsteps, Nick has been selling cars ever since he was a teenager. Starting out humbly cleaning cars, Nick soon began selling them and has worked his way up to managing the business. Friendly, personable and passionate about old and new makes and models of cars.
Nick - just like his father - has turned his childhood hobby into a successful career.
